Taking the life story of the legend Bobby Darin, starring a stellar cast, to the stage was a daring idea. Yet, in the eyes of many, he's one of the legends of the musical landscape in the 1960s. Both his life and his success were short-lived, leaving fans with plenty of what-ifs. This story seeks to take a deep dive into the mind of a man who packed dance halls and movie theaters in the 1950s and 1960s.
As mentioned, one of the main hurdles for Just in Time is still getting people excited about a story that many of them have heard little about. Yet, Bobby Darin wasn't just one of the stars of show business in the 1950s and 1960s. He was politically active, touring with RFK on the night in LA where he was murdered. Not to provide too many spoilers, but being profoundly impacted by those events, he spent the next year living alone in a trailer. In just 37 years, it could be said that the man lived a complete journey, and the music to it was unforgettable!
