Yet, in the eyes of many, he's one of the icons of the swing and jazz eras in the 1960s. Both his life and his success were fleeting, leaving fans with a ton of what-ifs. This story endeavors to delve deeply into the mind of a man who filled dance halls and movie theaters in the 1950s and 1960s with unforgettable hits like "Mack the Knife," "Beyond the Sea," "Splish Splash," and "Dream Lover."
As mentioned, one of the main hurdles for Just in Time is keeping people excited about a story that many of them have heard little about. Yet, Bobby Darin wasn't just one of the stars of show business in the '50s and '60s. He was engaged in activism, traveling with RFK on the night in LA where he was murdered. Not to provide too many spoilers, but being deeply affected by those events, he spent the next year in solitude in a trailer. In a mere 37 years, it could be said that the man lived a complete journey, and the soundtrack to it was incredible!
